Creating an Advertisement

To Create a Blueprint Advertisement:

1. Navigate to desired blueprint
   • In Blueprint Browser, select a category > review resulting blueprint list
2. Click Build This for desired blueprint
3. In pop-up:
   • Supply an advertisement name following suggest naming conventions.
   • Select a campaign from those available to you in the Campaign dropdown. If you don't wish to associate this advertisement with an existing campaign, simply select your Default User Campaign. If, later, you want to move this advertisement to an existing campaign, simply move it.
   • Click Build
4. In Creative Builder, built your advertisement by supplying required creative assets and ad configuration for each of a blueprint advertisement sections. For more on adding and managing assets, see Campaign Assets.

Previewing an Advertisement on a Browser

One of the most powerful features of the Medialets Campaign Manager is the ability to preview advertisements while they are still in development. Whether your advertisement is a Custom Build or was built through the Creative Builder, you can preview the advertisement in your browser or send it to a device to be viewed in the Medialets Showcase App.

Why doesn't my advertisement behave as expected on the browser? While previewing an advertisement on the browser is very helpful during its development, it is important to remember that browsers will not support an advertisement exactly as will a mobile device. To experience an advertisement exactly as it will behave on a device, we suggest previewing the advertisement on a device through the Medialets Showcase App

Previewing an Advertisement on a Device

In conjunction with the Medialets Showcase App, you can preview how advertisements in development will appear on a device. Any advertisement sent to a device will preview as if on an existing app. For example, if you are creating an expandable banner advertisement, previewing it on the Medialets Showcase App would display a banner embedded into an app background. You can then interact with the advertisement as you would expected app users to interact with it.

Previewing advertisements in Medialets Showcase App is available to you, those of your Medialets Muse team members or any other Medialets Muse user.

To preview advertisement on a device:

1. Download the Medialets Showcase App to the device running iOS4 or greater
   • Download app from: www.medialets.com/showcase-apps/ios
2. In Creative Builder, while creating advertisement, click View on Device
3. Select members who will be able to preview advertisement
   • The available members include your teams' members
   • To include Medialets Muse user outside of your teams, provide their email address (as supplied to Medialets Muse)
4. Login to the Medialets Showcase App
5. Click Builder tab
6. Navigate to your campaign and its advertisement
7. Click the desired advertisement to interact with it
