Asset Tags

Asset tags are descriptive text snippets which are attached to any asset. In order to help you locate the assets of most interest to you, we support tagging on all your assets and automatically adds some basic tags to all uploaded files.

When an asset is uploaded, we automatically tag it with the following information:

  • file type
  • person who uploaded
  • uploaded date
  • name of the campaign object to which the asset was added
How Can Tags be Useful?

When you upload a file, either directly to the Asset Drawer or through a comment, you will be given the opportunity to tag your files. When you view the Asset Drawer, these tags can be use to control what is displayed in the Asset Drawer. For example, if you upload Requirements documents to your campaign, you could tag these files as "requirements". When you visit the Asset Drawer, instead of being presented will all the assets on that campaign, you can quickly view only the the Requirement documents by filtering on the "requirements" tag. Notably, when you open the Asset Drawer from a campaign object, the filter will automatically be set to the campaign object's name.
